Geocache Description:

From layby on Linn of Dee Road, take footpath downhill to cross small footbridge. Continue west.

Father Charles Farquharson lived in Ardearg from 1780 to 1799. He was a Jesuit priest and you can see the ruins of the village. His chapel was turned into a dwelling house which is also now a ruin. 

The cache is a plastic tub with GeoCache logo.
