We love to holiday in Elie but there are (at this point) no geocaches in the village itself so thought we would add one near the Sports Club, which is popular with holiday makers all year round, but particularly in the summer. The tennis courts, putting, driving range, 9 hole golf course & of course 'Pavilion' cafe keep children entertained all day long.
This cache is placed on the edge of the 5th fairway, which can be accessed by walking past the tennis courts or by cutting up the path at the side of the Golf Court flats. It's near a landmark that our children 'ring' every time we walk past - a mysterious doorbell on the wall - but nobody has answered it yet, despite much 'ringing'!
You may need tweezers or a small twig to help extract the logbook - and will need your own pen too!
