After a night at the theatre, I began to wonder what would be even more enjoyable than seeing a live musical, with all the greatness of a play as well as having amazing Song and dance Numbers? Of course, I soon realised that the answer is solving and finding a mystery musical-themed geocache. So here it is; solve the puzzle, work out the co-ordinates and find the cache. Simple
There is nothing hidden at the listed co-ordinates; they simply bring you to an easily accessible starting point. The real location is about 20 minute's walk away. You must work out the answer to the puzzle below in order to find the co-ordinates for the true location of the cache. No prior knowledge of musical theatre is required to solve the puzzle or find the cache - all the information you need can be easily found on the internet (although all the musicals mentioned are all highly recommended by the CO!).
NOTE: When solving the puzzle, if you come across more than one possible answer for any of the clues, use the first answer that you come across.
THE PUZZLE
CLUE A

CLUE B

CLUE C

CLUE D

CLUE E

CLUE F

CLUE G

CLUE H

CLUE J

CLUE K

To get the co-ordinates:
Substitute the number you got for each clue into the following equations. (I skipped the letter 'I' when writing the clues to avoid confusion with the number 1.)
N 53 (C – E) . (G – (A + B)) ((F - A) + D) (H - (F + J ))
W 006 (J) (K / (B + C + E)) . (F / E) ((E x F) + D)
These co-ordinates should lead you to the cache, a micro magnetic container. Unfortunately I was unable to place the cache in the location I was originally thinking of due to a lack of any suitable hiding places, so I have placed it about 50 metres away. If you want to see why I chose this location, walk straight up from the cache towards the luas stop for about 50 metres and look opposite the luas stop. Good luck
Congratulations to sarahmur for the FTF!
