Blanche D. Price Park is located in Pocono Pines in Tobyhanna Township. The park offers picnic areas as well as a playground for the kids. There are ball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. Follow sign to walking trail. Park is closed from 9pm to 7am.
There had been a cache in this park before but it was Muggled so I decided to place one in it's stead. You are looking for a preform. Inside is a Rite in the Rain log book, and something to write with. I've had three trackables and my original logbook and an entire pelecan casefrom come up missing from my site. I don't know if they were muggled, or if someone simply forgot to log them. In fact one my trackables, Baby Polar Bear came up missing very recently. I saw a written log entry that has still not popped up on the site, so maybe when they log in this matter will be closed, but I'm still looking for another trackable that I brought back from Okinawa that does not belong to me that came up missing a long long time ago. Since I was the last one to log it I'm still responsible for it so please put the word out. Despite the other two, I still placed yet another trackable, and again there were no log entries and it too disappeared. Still, I'm committed to this game and I have a lot of fun with it. This being said, if you take a trackable, log it as soon as possible. If you take swag leave something of equal or greater value. Oh yes as always beware of the Muggles they are lurking everywhere. I've seen that sometimes the route to the park is unclear. I also had trouble finding it at first. From 940 turn at the light at RT 423 onto Pocono Crest Rd. take a right onto State Ave. Take another right into the Municipal parking lot Park in the Municipal Parking lot. Once you leave the trail the terrain is a little uneven but not difficult. This cache is cross listed on www.opencaching.us, www.terracaching.com and GPSgames.org.
