A great park that contains soccer fields, netball, basketball and tennis courts. Busy on weekends with sporting groups but if you bring your family there would always be a spot to kick around a ball. Short drive near tennis courts there is a small children's playground with tables. The future plans for Arkinstall Park is for it to become a regional sports facility.
The map is out of date and you can get access to Oxley Street from Kirkwood Road. There is a road that goes into the grounds and you can come out at Cunningham Street.
Plenty of parking but stealth required especially on weekends. The local high school uses the park on Wednesdays for their sporting day.
