St. Martin de Tours Basilica - This magnificent historical monument is named after the patron saint of Taal, Saint Martin de Tours. The Basilica’s size and Baroque façade is awe-inspiring. Its extraordinary structure is even more captivating with the addition of dome ceilings hand painted with intricate detail. It is considered to be the largest church in the Philippines and in Asia, standing 88.6m long and 48m wide.
Located in front of the Basilica, there is a small garden where you can rest after your visit of the Monument. Stay under the shadow of its belvedere and appreciate the old house in colonial style built all around. You can also take some minutes to look for the container hidden in this small square.
