Grotting Railway station was one of the smaler stations from the origin on this railroad. The station was closed down in the 1970this but was still a mark on the maps in the trains for decades after that.
This Cach is to remeber one of the smaller stations from the time the train moved slower than today and people was depended on the train to get out of even small cities lilke Larvik.
I am grown up on Grotting Gaard (Grotting Farm) just behind the station and can remeber it as well as when it was clossed down like all the other small stations on this line.
