Geocache Description:

Small cliplock box easily found by anyone.

This is where the City of Onkaparing meets the District Council of Yankalilla. You are also looking at land owned by Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple of Australia Inc where the developers behind a proposal to build a $15 million Buddhist Temple (35m high pagoda) was to include a 18m high bronze statue of Buddha (as tall as a six-storey building).

The tall Buddha, has been replaced with an absolutely gorgeous concrete statue of Kuan Yin, the Buddist Goddess of compassion and mercy.  She is just beautiful, and you get an immediate feeling of peace and contentment when you are directly under her.

The design of the complex includes a Chinese memorial garden, living quarters for 10 monks and car parking spaces for visitors. The complex would provide educational, social and moral support to the Buddhist community and be an international tourist attraction. It will be interesting to see it when it is built, and I for one will be the first to visit.

The small plastic cliplock container will hold non-bulky bugs and coins.

ENJOY THE VIEW.

CONGRATULATIONS ... ROMA123 for your FTF ever. Jun'09 That found the original Serenity cache...... and GOOD LUCK to the FTF of this new cache that has replaced the archived original (because it ws bulldozed!)
