You are looking for a small pre-form container. NOT IN THE GUARD RAIL. Log only. BYOP.
This cache is hidden near Starr King Road that leads north off Route 2 opposite the Waumbek Golf Club. DO NOT park along Route 2 as there are No Parking signs on both sides. You could park just up Starr King Road at a small pull-off on the left. Please do not block Starr King by parking on the road. Last alternative is to park in Waumbek Golf course parking lot across Route 2 and CAREFULLY cross Route 2 as it is a very busy road. The Waumbek Golf Club, built in 1895, was the first 9-hole golf course in New Hampshire and it became the oldest 18-hole golf course in New Hampshire when it was lengthened in 1899. Starr King Road is named for the Rev. Thomas Starr King, the famous Unitarian minister who hiked extensively in this area in the mid-1800s. He made Jefferson his headquarters because he thought the views from here were the best in the White Mountains.
