We are from The Netherlands and we love to cache together! When we were on holiday to Samos, in the summer of 2015, we saw this beautiful spot and dropped a cache.
The island has a little chapel and a small beach. And on the island you can see the remains of some buildings that used to be there. The cache is located at the front garden of an old house.
The island is not easy to get to. We highly recommend that you don't go swimming. Unless you are very well trained. You can use a good, well equiped, boat to get there. However, there are several tours to the island which you can book. We recomend going on the captain andreas barbecue tour. The tour goes to two places. One, a very nice distance beach, where you can relax and enjoy the barbecue. Two, this very special island. However, there are a few tours on Samos that go to the island.
The cache: It is halfway on the island. When you reach the island, then you have to hike a minute or 5. Look for an abandonded house.
