Off the Beaten Track No.3 – Start of the Trail Traditional Cache

The Cache

The cache will be found close to where you leave the hard core paths and start to follow the dog walker trails. This trail will lead you to the next half dozen caches before you will hit the hard core path again. The GPSr coverage under the trees can be a bit hit and miss so you may need to read the hints for the following caches.

Hillsborough Forest Park

The Series

These caches are to replace the Strangely Curious series that were set in 2008 and have now seen better days. This series has been inspired by a renewed love for the area following the addition of our new pup, called Tara, which has seen us getting off the beaten track once again, hence the name of the series. The caches have been placed on or near our regular walking routes, which predominately follow the animal and dog walkers’ trails. Please enjoy, but a word of caution, remember the caches are not on waymarked paths under tree cover so navigation will be that little bit more difficult and conditions under foot maybe challenging at certain times of the year.
