Geocache Description:

This geocache is placed here for my son who I have dragged along to just about every cache I have ever done and is too young to understand what we are doing.

Mount Peel Bushland Reserve is a large park on the western side of Toowoomba next to Drayton. The park is dominated by open eucalypt forest but contains a large amount of prickly pear in places so be careful. The reserve contains two mountain peaks, both with views over the Darling Downs. The southern peak is easily accessed via a gravel track that runs all the way to the top, I recommend you take the time to walk up the southern peak if you come to the park to grab this cache. Both peaks also have their own geocaches in addition to this one.

The cache: It is advised that you park at the end of Westminster Street and take one of the well-marked trails into the park. The cache is a little off the main track but should not be too hard to find. The cache is a small sistema with room for swaps and trackables. We have left the Kwazii Kitten TB here to start his journey.
