A popular swimming beach for locals and tourists, Corny Beach was purchased in 2000 with help of a Wisconsin Coastal Management grant and a grant from the Wisconsin DNR
Situated in the Town of Bell (otherwise known as Cornucopia), Corny Beach consists of sandy Lake Superior shoreline and wetlands. The Town of Bell retains ownership of the property which is open to the public. As part of the transaction, the Town placed a conservation easement on the property that is held by the Conservancy. Corny beach's tag alder wetlands, beautiful sandy beaches and public access to Lake Superior are preserved forever.
