As you take Hwy. 16 going West out of Buffalo and past Mosier Gulch, you will see Broken Heart Rock up to the right. There is a small parking spot just off the road to the right. Please be careful turning off Hwy. 16 and entering back onto it. Go thru gate. It is a short walk down to the creek, which you will need to cross. Was easy to do at the time we placed the cache. Go part way up the hill on the other side of the creek and you will come to an obvious trail that looks like it was an old four wheeler road. Follow that trail and it will take you close to the cache and to wonderful views of Broken Heart Rock. During the spring and wet times of the year there is usually a waterfall that can be viewed on the way. During the dry season there will be no waterfall and no water in the small creek you cross. There are several items for children and some other things as well. Also contains a FTF item. Container is green ammo box. Enjoy the scenery and view. Please note: I wouldn't advise trying to go straight to the cache as shown by your gps. That would take you thru very difficult terrain. By using the directions above you can avoid that.
