A cache to honour Jack Eby, a great friend of mine.
Years and years ago. This intersection was originally called Bastard Corner, due to a lady living nearby with lots of kids and no husband.
When I arrived in the area it was called the Meat Packer Road due to the slaughter house down the road.
Then in 2006 Water Valley Community put forward a request to rename it to Jack Eby Trail.
Jack Eby's parents moved to the Water Valley area in the early 1900's.
Jack was a hard working man all his life, mainly in the logging industry. Jack traveled this road for many years to his saw mill.
You WILL need a pencil
Have fun finding the cache
Alas Jack died 7th December 2016
