A cache located between Newburyport and Amesbury on Deer Island. Deer Island has many little walking trails that lead to little spots along the shore to fish and explore.
When you arrive at the Deer Island parking lot you will see two wooden trusses which existed between 1792 and 1810. They were then replaced in 1810 by a chain suspension bridge, or the Chain Bridge. The cache itself is located around one of the trusses. We hope you enjoy this historic spot and trying to find the cache!
