Placed in the grounds of Cyfarthfa Park Merthyr Tydfil by the 3gs Mens Project Environmental Group
Up near where the WW1 tank was situated after the First World War. The tank was donated to the people of the town after it's generous contribution towards the war effort of over £1,000,000. Unfortunately after the outbreak of World War 2 the tank had to be given back to the Ministry of Defence to be melted down to make bullets and armaments for the war effort.
