Across the road from this hide is where the sale barn used to be before it burned down years ago. Weekly or monthly, local cattlemen and farmers would get together for the auction. The horse auction was the last Friday of every month and locals would come here to hang out and visit with neighbors, whether they were in the market to buy or not. I sold many a horse here and purchased just as many. I even worked here for a little while when I was in high school. It was a sad night when it burned to the ground.
This cache is located in a pile of rocks and pieces of concrete at the end of a canal just before it goes under the road. It's not too far off the road. No need to go past any of the no trespassing signs if they are on the canal road. It's in the pile... good luck.
