Geocache Description:

A beautiful walk under trees & along rivers. Careful: Especially the trail between the first cache, "Hidden Ravine", and this cache can be muddy and slippy in places.

This is the second of two caches along this trail. When in Ennistymon, find the Falls Hotel (go to the town square and go past the library "Leabharlann"). Opposite the school (of which only the portacabins are visible on the left) is a public car park. Alternatively you can drive into the hotel car park and leave your car there. Once parked in either place, find your way to the river which is on your left. When you stand on the shore of the Inagh river, you can see the cascades to the left. Looking at the river, turn right and walk past the hotel (gym). Follow the trail until you come to an ancient stone bridge and a turnoff to the right. Follow this new trail to the right along the Ballymacarvan River, and walk over two wooden bridges.

When you come to the third bridge you have 2 choices. 1. Don't cross the bridge. Go straight on until you come to another bridge. Cross this one and follow the new steps up. Where the path turns right in a switchback, go underneath the fence and follow the path to the cache.
2. You cross the third bridge, go up the steps and ignore the "danger" sign. Climb over the fence

and climbed up the steps, there is a level path at the top, to the right, starting behind the sign. Take that trail and continue until you come to a hole in the tree cover. GZ is on the right hand side of the path. The trail is muddy at times and narrow. Use your own judgement when bringing children.
Don't try and go down the hill! It is very slippy, and you will have trouble getting up again. To retrieve the cache container which is a PET, ... [see hint]... and lift it up carefully.
Apologies if the coordinates jump or seem out. There is a lot of tree cover.

If there was a lot of rainfall, the trail along the second river can be flooded in different places, so you can either walk through the water with your absolutely waterproof walking boots or wellies, or take a little detour via the slopes (careful, might be slippy!).
