Geocache Description:

Cowboy rode his horse into Dolores and was buying some supplies  when he heard his old friend, Charlie, call out.  “Hey Cowboy, how about joining us for some baseball?”  “Baseball?”, said Cowboy, “What in tarnation is that”.  Charlie laughed, “Cowboy you spend too much time on your ranch.  You really ain’t never heard of baseball?  It has become the most popular sport in the United States.

Reluctantly Cowboy said he would give it a try.  When he arrived at the field just west of town there was a group of men throwing a small ball back and forth catching it in cowhide gloves.  One player was hitting the ball with a stick.  Charlie said to Cowboy, “Look all you have to do is to stand out there”, pointing to the area behind most of the players, “and if the ball is hit out there then try to catch it and throw it back to us”.  Soon Cowboy was watching one player throw the ball and another trying to hit it.  When he did, the hitter ran around toward other players.  Then a hitter swung and hit the ball toward Cowboy but it soared way over Cowboy’s head and bounced away.  He never saw where it landed so Cowboy started hunting for it.  Charlie called out “Hurry up and find that ball Cowboy, or it is game over!!”

The cache is a small black camo bison tube with log.  Tweezers or forceps are advised to remove the log.
