There's only one place to look for a geocache in the wastelands at pullover #3 on the way to the Floating Island. This road and location are open to the public. It's quite rocky and bumpy, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.

For many years this location has seen travelers and outlived them all, albeit in accumulating states of decline. When visiting, please be respectful of the old beast, and if you are kind, refresh its status (fix up the door at least, as careless thugs usually cause intentional damage to this site from time to time). If even more motivated, rewrite the word "HOME" on the door so as to welcome the wanderers of the wastelands in for dinner.
