This cache will bring you to the outskirts of Poowong. Poowong is a small diary town set in the lush green hills of South Gippsland. For a town of its size, Poowong has several very active community groups including the Poowong Football and Netball club as well as the Poowong Community Consultative Committee. Poowong is most notably known as being the location selected for the world premiere of the Australian movie “Kenny”, starring Shane Jacobson, in 2006
This cache is placed along a very busy and narrow road. I would recommend driving towards Poowong and pulling in to the opening just before the cache then walking the last section.
Cache contains log book and pencil, with room for the normal swaps to be left. Please ensure that the cache is returned in a manner that cannot be seen from the track.
