Geocache Description:

The Who-Whroo Cache is located in an historic gold-mining area in the central Victorian hinterland.

This cache was re-set on 12/12/2004 as it had been removed. The cache is now a rectangular plastic container with a white top. It contains 7 items, including a Ned Kelly Fridge magnet, a Ned Kelly hat badge, an indigenous Australian bookmark, a kangaroo sticker and a kangaroo pin. The theme is obviously Australiana, and our family name is well-represented. Perhaps we should name our GeoCaching Team as The Kelly Gang.

Find the year (ABCD) that the Whroo Presbyterian church was built. Then proceed to the sign indicating the walking track to the Whroo Cemetery - the distance to the cemetery is (997 - EFG) metres.

Proceed to S36° D9.EFG / E145° 0A.C2B

Check the sign - what was the approximate population of Whroo during the period 1853 - 1860? Subtract 6205 from this number to equal abcd.

Proceed to S36° 39.2aa / E145° 01.bcd

Count the number of planks in the viewing platform - you will find the cache located approximately this number of metres from the end of the viewing platform along the narrow track in the opposite direction from which you came.
