Cáhuil (mapudungun: Lugar de gaviotas), es un pueblo ubicado a 15 kilómetros al sur de Pichilemu, en la desembocadura del estero Nilahue. La economía de este pueblo se basa en la producción de sal de mar, ostras y choros. La laguna de Cáhuil es un lugar adecuado para la pesca, la natación, y los viajes en bote.
Para acceder al cache tienen que cruzar el puente y luego subir hasta el lugar de escondite.
Cáhuil (Mapudungun: Place of seagulls), is a village located 15 kilometres south of Pichilemu, in the outfall of Nilahue stream. The economy of this village is based on the production of coastal salt, oysters, and choros. Cáhuil Lagoon is a place suitable for fishing, swimming, and boat travel.
