This small ammo box is painted nutmeg to blend with the fallen leaves. It is hidden in a small cavity partially under a large rock. After 3 tries I could get my GPS to read 9 feet from the cache when I was standing above it. The usual problem of canyon walls blocking out satellites.
Trailhead is just west of the Smokey the Bear sign in Ogden Canyon. Look for turn-in just after Indian Trail sign if you are approaching from the West. Coordinates for the trailhead are N41* 14.411 / W111* 54.292.
It's about a mile from the trailhead to the cache. It's a shady hike, part of which is beside a babbling brook. I didn't want to leave after I placed the cache, it was so peaceful and quiet at the site. The elevation gain is 760 feet. At the .75 mile mark, take the left fork, the Sawmill trail.
The cache is only about 25-30 feet off the side trail, to the right. You can see the rock that is hiding the cache from the trail.
