Ambiorix was the leader of a Belgic (Gaul) tribe. He became famous due to his resistance against Julius Caesar in the 'Commentarii de Bello Gallico'. Modern Belgium is located in the region in which Ambiorix used to rule.

The Ambiorix series are taking my national hero through parts of Estonia where I often come.

Ambiorix goes to school

The Roman educational system was far beyond the Belgic one. Ambiorix knew this and he decided to go to school. With the knowledge he received there, he was able to construct better defence systems and he could upgrade his village. The Belgic tribe began to grow larger.

Ambiorix wanted smarter warriors in his army, so he was hiding a little logbook. All the warriors who wanted to join his army had to put their names in the logbook.
