Geocache Description:


The cache starts behind the visiting center for the Gila Cliff Dwellings. The hike to the hot springs is a very easy hike kid friendly. You will have to cross the river twice; the water is not over a foot deep. At the hot spring please do not put your hand where the hot water is coming out of the mountain, it is hot! Park at N33 13.542 / W108 14.482 from there continue on foot down the dirt road. The first crossing of the river is at N33 13.653 / W108 14.266. The 2nd river crossing is at N33 13.868 / W108 14.147. The hot spring is at N 33 14.011 / W108 14.117. Take a lunch and sit down in the shade of some bountiful trees at N33 14.0550 / W108 14.0750 from there the cache is just a stone throw. Take the time and hike just a bit farther and you will see some beautiful areas and some big fish. I’m no fisherman but I have seen some big fish in the river.
