Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for the SAW6 event and should not be sought until after 7pm on Friday April 14, 2015.

THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DRY YEAR IN SOUTHERN ALBERTA. YOU ARE ASKED TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH MATCHES OR CIGARETTES WHEN IN DRY OR GRASSY AREAS!

This cache is part of series which will educate you about the planets of our solar system.

You will need to seek out each of the planets and read the fact sheet provided in the cache. Once you have read the fact sheet, turn the card over and answer the multiple choice question about the planet. There will be a number of answers, only one is correct. The correct answer will give you another number to be put into the formula giving you the location of the final cache, “The Sun”

The Sun is located at     North  49 degrees  BC.DEF   West 110 degrees  WX.YZ

Because this is intended to be a field puzzle, a coordinate checker will not be provided.

A hint here. Approach our Solar System as a visitor from a faraway galaxy.

The caches should be easy to find. All are beside a gravel road (or two), not too far out of the city. Many have turn outs for parking, but the roads are not too busy so you can park safely to the side of the road. They have been placed at locations where the footing is relatively good but, since you will have to cross some ditches, watch out for the normal critters as you access the cache!

This is intended to be a fun and easy way to get some smileys and also learn something about our place in the Universe!
