Geocache Description:

Kačerginės koplyčia stovi Kačerginėje, Kauno raj., centrinėje miestelio dalyje. Statinys įsiterpęs į vaizdingo miško parko dalį šalia pagrindinės Janonio gatvės.

 

Statinio planas stačiakampis, su nedidele zakristijos iškyša vakariniame šone. Ilgosios pastato sienos medinės, priekinio ir galinio fasado plokštumos stiklinės. Koplyčią dengia aukštas, status stogas. Pagrindinio fasado skyde įkomponuotas medinis kryžius. Lauke stovi 12 m. aukščio karkasinė varpinė su mažu varpeliu. Šventorių juosia eglaičių gyvatvorė. Šalia koplyčios pastatytas paminklas Lietuvos partizanams (1994 m., aut. Jonas Lukšė).

Koplyčioje yra retas bažnytiniam interjerui vitražinis altorius (dailininkas Artūras Rinkevičius).
