Geocache Description:

A great (Geek) family spot in the heart of Napier

My favorite Hawkes bay haunt with the kids. Seriously a fantastic hands on museum. There was a Cache here that led me to this spot and then it was abandoned as no one local was available to look after it. Now I have the honour of being the new owner of this Cache.

The Faraday Centre has all sorts of technology toys to play with from type writers to captive lightening.  Plenty of Napier history too.

Trust me bring the kids next wet day.

The Cache has been mugged many time in past please replace as found.

Please note that in the garden you may find remnants of the Faraday Sprinkler - That is NOT the cache it is the dead cache's bones. The Museum is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9:00 am all year and during school days there can be children coming and going between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. It is best to look for the cache outside these times to avoid being seen
