Geocache Description:

The Shaw Hill Marsh is a 900 square acre marsh/prairie natural area protected by the DNR. It is labelled as public hunting ground. "Geocache Placement Notification" form has been completed and sent to Wildlife Biologist Paul Samerdyke as directed by phone conversation with him 7/27/15.

This little spot has a very old willow tree that naturally fell. But the beauty of it, is that there are new shoots growing from it. It's cool little spot. The actual cache was placed a bit high up (but not evil monkey high) as to keep it from high water that may occur in the area from time to time. This area is low and marshy, plan accordingly. Also summer time will bring Wisconsin's State Bird the mosquito in droves.
