BDC 15 06 Where the Wildflowers Grow Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

The Shaw Hill Marsh is a beautifl 900 square acre nature preserve with marsh/prairieland. It is designated as public hunting ground by the DNR.     "Geocache Placement Notification" form has been completed as directed by Wildlife Biologist Paul Samerdyke.

This parking area for the marsh is FULL of prairie type plants. Summer brings wildflowers galore. At times the DNR controlled burns this area to promigate further growth of the natural vegitation. This occurs approximately every 2 to 3 years. Stop back often and in different seasons to see how the beauty of this area changes.
