Velkommen til Havnepromenaden!
Havnepromenaden strekker seg 9 km seg langs hele Fjordbyen, fra Kongshavn i øst til Frognerkilen i vest. I begge ender kan du fortsette turen langs kyststien. I Frognerkilen går ferden videre rundt Bygdøy, og ved Alna fortsetter den sørover langs Ekeberg.
Lohavn
På Sørenga leder Havnepromenaden frem til Sørenga sjøbad og videre inn i Lohavna. Sørengutstikkeren har tidligere vært havneterminal for kontainere. Området er snart ferdig utviklet til boligstrøk med offentlig tilgjengelig badepark med badevakter og garderobe.
Lohavn er et historisk område som i dag preges av veier og jernbanelinjer, men som i fremtiden vil bli mer tilgjengelig og innbydende.
Welcome to the Harbour Promenade!
Nine kilometer long, the promenade outlines the Fjord City waterfront, from Kongshavn in the east to Frognerkilen in the west. In either end, you can continue your hike along the coastal paths, westwards around Bygdøy or southwards along Ekeberg. The promenade connects the city to the fjord, and east to west. With its adjoining parks and urban spaces, the promenade makes the Fjord City accessible for everybody in Oslo.
Lohavn
At Sørenga, the Harbour Promenade leads to the Sørenga sea bath facilities and all the way to Lohavna. Sørengutstikkeren used to be the grounds of the container terminal, but is nearing completion as a residential area with businesses, a kindergarten and a public swimming area with lifeguards and changing rooms.
Lohavn is a historical area which today is characterised by roads and railway lines but which in the future will be made accessible and inviting. Future plans include creating a small park here.
