SLO: Luknja je zatrepna dolina reke Temenice, ki je verjetno nastala z vrušenjem stropa kraške jame. Geomorfološko podobo izvirne doline bogatijo pestri kraški pojavi: Lukenjska jama, Jama za gradom, manjše naravno okno, udornica za gradom, izvir tipa estavela ter brezno Velika Stražica v zaledju izvira. Pobočje med hladno udornico in termofilnimi stenami naseljuje pestro rastlinstvo , kraške jame in podzemsko reko pa več ogroženih živalskih vrst.
ANG: Luknja is gabled river Temenica, probably been created by destruction of the ceiling caves. Geomorphological image of the original valley enriching the rich karst phenomena: Lukenjska Cave, the Cave of the castle, a small natural window, collapsed behind the castle, the source type estavela and abyss Velika Stražica in the hinterland of spring. Slope during the cold collapsed and thermophilic walls inhabits diverse flora, caves and underground river, several endangered animal species.
