Geocache Description:

This is part of a loop around Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil placed by members of the 3gs Mens Project Environmental Group

Situated close to the original site of the Cyfarthfa Greenhouses.  In the 19th Century the Crawshay Family grew 6 giant pineapples weighing on average 11 lbs in weight.  The average weight of a pineapple today is 2-3 lbs
