This Little Railway Bridge was probably once in the middle of nowhere but now sits just behind a housing estate, so there's plenty of parking and a short but rough public footpath to get to GZ. Rodden Lake Stream Meadow used to be a favourite place for dog walkers, ramblers, nature lovers, school field trips, etc. but in 2014, and much to the disapproval of many locals, the land was bought and a 6ft high fence was erected either side of the public footpath from one side of the meadow to the other by the new owner. This made the national news and the Rodden Lake Stream Meadow fence was compared to a prison exercise run, and from looking at the old image from above then coming face to face with it in real life you can see why...

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire.
