This is a trail of 39 caches along a walk of about 12 kilometres and follows byways and footpaths, crosses some clearly marked fields and also follows part of the Jurassic Way
The trail passes through Elkington and Winwick with some delightful countryside along the way, the terrain is mostly down then up – whether you follow the route or try it in reverse
There are a variety of caches set along the route all intended to be found without too much difficulty; tweezers will be necessary
When setting the trail there were horses in the field between 021 and 022, easily avoidable ~ an alternative route can be found; also there are many sheep between 022 and 026 ~ not at all avoidable
Parking for a couple of cars can be found at #1 and there is also very limited parking in Winwick
