SM Tube #5 - Flight Must-see-'em Traditional Cache

This cache is part of a series around Santa Maria with the purpose of pointing out unique or historical locations around the city.  It is hidden in a courtyard with several plaques and benches commemorating the women of flight.  Bring a pen/pencil to sign the log, a bit of stealth skill if anyone is around, and your geo-senses.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THE CONTAINER SO IT WILL LAST A WHILE!!!

The Santa Maria Museum of Flight was created to enhance local tourism and raise awareness of the flight history of the area.  I thought, what better way to bring extra attention to it than with a geocache.  This museum has many neat single-engine aircraft and a couple other things to see, as well as some interesting historical information and tributes.  I found out an interesting fact; the movie "The Rocketeer" was filmed at the airport behind this museum.  For more historical info, check out this neat museum; but at least come for a cache. 

The cache is not hidden at Ground Zero, which falls in the middle of the courtyard.  To find this Bison, you will have to search the area for Heroines.
