This cache is hidden on the property of The Central Manitoulin Pioneer Museum, an attraction of Mindemoya of which holds lots of historical importance. Right across the gulley from this cache's hidden location, you will see a original pioneer cabin, of which was brought in from Brookwood Brae Golf Course and Spring Bay, and futher back on the property, though hidden from view, are some amazing and original outbuildings and barns. The hiding spot of this cache is also important to the history of Mindemoya as well. Originally existing on the building of the first ever creamery that was on the island, 'Wagg's Creamery" ,this stone stood as the sign of the building until it burnt down in 1936, Now being all that is left of the original building. While finding the cache, take some time to come into the museum, and learn a little more about the early past of the island, or pay an small fee and be given an amazing and informative tour of the outbuildings and cabin.
