Denne turen vil gi deg utsikt mot det pittoreske fiskeværet Reine, innover Reinefjorden og utover Andøyhaugen. Du vil se det mektige fjellet Olstind trone som en trekant ned i havet, men ikke minst får du besøke et lite stykke "hemmelige Lofoten", da denne hulen er ukjent for de fleste. Velkommen til trolsk stemning; barnas rike.
Hulen er ikke farlig i seg selv, da kun barnehender har forandret på den de siste hundre år, men dersom fuktig vær kan stenene være glatte. Alltid beveg deg varsomt og med respekt i Loftens natur. Dette er en tur du gjerne kan ta med barn på. Finner du søppel ta gjerne dette med ned, og ser du biter eller gjenstander fra barns lek, håper vi du lar disse ligge der. Det er ikke nødvendig med lykt, men det letter selvsagt cachejakten.
TYSKERHULA (The German Cave) Witch name can be assumed to originate from WW2, is located on top of the "bowl shaped top" called Boillhaugen. This is a place where several generations of children from Reine had their playground, where they climbed the rocks an builded "houses" under the boulders, naturally created by nature.
This tour will give you a panoramic view of the picturesque fishing village of Reine, in to the Reinefjord onwards Andøyhaugen. You will see the mighty mountain "Olstinden" throne as a triangle into the sea, but not least` you get to visit a little piece of "The Secret Lofoten", as this cave is unknown to most people. Welcome to the magical atmosphere, children's kingdom - Tyskerhula!
The cave is not dangerous place in itself, as its only change has been done by children's hands during the the last hundred years, but if the weather in Lofoten is wet, be ware that the stones can be slippery. Always move carefully and with respect to the nature. This is a great trip to bring children along. If you fint rubbish please bring it down to the village, and if you find pieces or objects from child's play, we hope you will leave these lying there. You dont need to bring light for the cave, but it will make the hunt for the cache moore easy. Look up for Trolls.
