BEREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 2nd ANNUAL GEOCACHING WEEKEND
After an overwhelming response and positive feedback from the geocaching community during our 1st Geocaching Weekend in 2014, the Berea Chamber of Commerce has included "Geocaching Weekend" as an annual event on our calendar schedule, which will fall on the third weekend of October every year, so make sure you mark that weekend on your calendars now. We will have a new ground zero for this year's event (because we already outgrew last year's venue). Berea Community School will serve as our ground zero meeting and launch site for the numerous activities we have planned over the course of the weekend.
Our Berea Geocaching Weekend has something for everyone, regardless of your skill level, age level, mobility level, cache-type favorites, or event-type interests. A large assortment of event caches (plus a few permanent caches) of varying difficulty and terrain levels will be placed throughout Berea, specifically for this event. Participants can join a quest to locate the caches during this weekend of geocaching fun and games. We strive to offer an action packed weekend full of a variety of fellowship, friends, and caching activities, which offer you an opportunity to stay super busy, or will enable you to leisurely enjoy your weekend while caching at your own relaxing pace.
Do you want to meet other others? Attend the meet and greet. Do you want to learn more about geocaching? Attend the training. Want to find caches? Participate in the day and/or night cache hunt. Want to win FTF prizes? Be the first to find a cache. Want to win door prizes? Be present. Want to show how much you love mother nature? Participate in the CITO.

The event is free, the pre-registered t-shirts are free, and the goody bags are free! This demonstrates the amazing support of our Berea business community. (If you miss the Sept. 30th deadline, you can still participate (and register on-site for free), but you will not receive the free t-shirt or goody bag.

- Registration Table is Open 6:30pm-9:00pm
- "Introduction to Geocaching" Training class, 7pm - 7:45pm
- "All Roads Lead To Berea" Geocacher Meet & Greet (with Games & Prizes), 8pm-9pm
Saturday October 17th, 2015
- Registration Table Open 7:30am-9:00am
- "Rain or Shine, It's Tour Berea Time" Daytime Geocaching Challenge, 9:00am-6:00pm
- "Under the Stars in Berea" Geocaching Night Time Challenge, 8:00pm-Sunday 11:00am
Sunday October 18th, 2015
- "CITO in Berea" (Cache In, Trash Out), 8:30am - 11:00am
- Grand Finale Awards Ceremony on Sunday at 11am
- First to Find (FTF) Prizes, Challenge Game Prizes, Attendance Prizes, Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) Prizes, Door Prizes, and the Grand Prize, plus participate in the 2015 Group Photo, and bid farewell to your fellow geocachers..."Until we meet again"
