Geocache Description:


Every place has a geocaching genesis! For Canberra - that spot is S35,E149! Almost all cache locations in Canberra start with those two numbers! - Have you every wondered where the source of all this fun and entertainment might be located? Well - today I got very close! Within 25 metres in fact! Some lucky dog owns the block that contains the actual coordinates. (Well, the block only has a letterbox and a dog kennel at the moment).

I tried to get to this mecca a few years ago, and couldn't get closer than 600m... Today - I got to within 25m!!! But there was no ideal place to hide a cache exactly there So I decided this spot would have to do... You could get closer, but then you would be in full view of the nearby house!
