Geocache Description:

The second in the trail of Pirate N's hidden treasure specially set with young children in mind (but obviously there for everyone to find)

It's hidden at a lovely spot along the boardwalk where you can sit down and have a picnic. There's an excellent play park a wee bit up from the car park so your wee scalla'wags can have a wee play before/after they find the cache.

I think there was a cache in this spot years ago but it's been years disabled.

Pirate N was the fiercest, bravest and best treasure hunter to have ever set sail from the Isle of Lewis.

His ship was said to have been built with timber from this very area (Aline Forest) so it only makes sense that he would have hidden some of his loot here.

The cache is a medium lock and lock box containing a log book, pen and treasure. There's a wee pin badge for the first finder though you may have to dig for it (the badge, not the cache).

Please ensure it's replaced as found.

Happy hunting
