I'm a middle child. My older brother was born a few years before me, and, like most first born (especially males), received a lot of attention, pictures, presents, etc., etc. But my aunt that baby sat us as toddlers said that he was kind of a snot. She's my elder so I'm not inclined to argue with her.
I came along as the second, at that point in the family you're pretty much just sent out to pasture to graze on your own.
My younger brother came a couple of years later, and as the baby got much coddling and smothering. I always had to haul him around with me, even when it was to places where I didn't want a younger sibling tagging along. I do miss him.
It seems that the first and last get a little better place in the pecking order, while the middle child often seems to be just taking up space.
Pretty simple cache. There is no poison oak where the cache is, but you may want to bang around and kind of prod things to be sure one of Smaug's distance cousins hasn't decided to guard this treasure.
