This cache has been placed for the CARMH 6 event. The cache should not be located prior to 7 PM, Friday, Aug. 14th. The caches for the CARMH 6 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. Welcome to SAW 6!! Happy caching and have fun!
This cache will bring you to a local city park frequented by young and old alike. The area is currently under construction for the flood prevention berms. This is your chance to check it out! The gates in this park are locked between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Parking is available nearby. Watch for muggles as certain times of the day are very busy here. If you're hot, walk over to the splash park and cool off, and public restrooms are nearby as well.
During a "long hot summer" like we're having, spots like this are a great place to get out and get out of the sun as well. Bring along your lunch and enjoy some time outdoors! It's a short walk to the river path system as well. Enjoy!
