Geocache Description:

The public launch area for the Port of Ilwaco is a busy place, especially so while the salmon are returning to the Columbia River to spawn or tuna are running. To accommodate sport fishermen, there are several options available to get a boat in the water and headed out for a day of fun. The geocache is somewhere in this photo and has been placed with permission from the manager of the Port of Ilwaco.


Please park in designated areas, yield to fishermen and boat traffic, and keep your feet on the ground during your search.
