Geocache Description:

Place as part of a series by 3gs Mens Project Environmental Group aimed to raise awareness of historical sites around the town

The cache is situated in the car park of the lesser known Ironworks of Merthyr Tydfil.  A sister plant that pre dated the Cyfarthfa Works it was a working forge from 1769 and continued production until 1874

. Wheelchair friendly although may need assistance. Free parking on site
