Zetland Park is a beautiful and well kept green space in the centre of Grangemouth and is a great spot to walk the dog, sit and relax in the Rose Garden or have a good old monkey around at the park.
The play park and especially the cycle track are favourites of my little 'uns and we regularly visit for a free afternoon of fun.
Situated in the centre of the park is an old, unused and sadly neglected outdoor swimmimng pool / boating pond from around 1930. Although in a state of disrepair, there has been a ramp fitted at one end to allow a sweeping machine access to remove leaves and debris and prevent further deterioration until the local trust and 'Friends of Zetland' can decide what restoration to take and what it's future purpose should be.
Due to the parks well kept grounds and tidy borders, the scope for hiding anything other than a micro cache were slim but I managed to find one spot that was perfect for a small container, suitable for a few bits of swag and small TB's and isn't too far from the car park and playpark.
Watch out for muggles in this busy park but thankfully there are a couple of benches looking on to GZ where you can sit and wait till the coast is clear.
*** Well done to miiinee for getting FTF!!! ***
