Geocache Description:

A short series of caches in Dundee, loosely based on lines from a song which came to mind while caching in the hills.

Ambling over the Alyth Hills recently, looking for caches, but going slowly and thoroughly enjoying the walk and the scenery, it occurred to me that too often we dash from one cache to the next, especially on drive-bys, and barely notice the scenery. It can be more of a race to "get them done" than a day out enjoying views as we cache. The line "You drive like a demon from station to station" from one of my favourite Bowie songs came to mind. From this came the inspiration for this series of caches, based on lines from the song.

"Station to Station"--obviously relates to a railway line, but also to a railway bridge. The line running past the cache links Dundee with Invergowrie and Perth. The famous Tay Bridge, visible from the cache, carries the line through Wormit and on to Fife and Edinburgh.

The cache is placed near the footbridge which goes over the railway from Riverside to Magdalen Green. No climbing required, but the view is good from the top of the bridge. Parking at the sports pavilion close to the cache, or over the road at the riverside. Pedestrian crossing between the two.
