This cache is accessed by walking, not a cache and dash.


 

The National Forest is the first new forest to be created in England for 1,000 years, transforming 200 square miles of the Midlands across parts of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

The cache location overlooks the Albion Landfill site which is expected to be completed and re-landscaped soon, integrating the old clay extraction site into this region of the National Forest.

The cache is a Small but can contain swaps and TB's it is located on a way marked path that passes through a recently planted area of the National Forest that is changing the landscape of this industrial area.

It can be accessed from a number of directions including a bridleway and from the Conkers circuit walking / riding path.

Approach from the bridleway and through the timber festival show ground as the other public footpath gets overgrown in the summer.

There are other caches in the area.

The nearest off the road car parking is at the Conkers discovery centre.
